Lever gun / caliber opinions

I’m in the 35 Remington camp. Have a Henry lever gun in brass. Good woods gun, good for larger game out to 150 yards or so. Seems like the 35 Remington becoming a forgotten caliber with a niche following. It’s a great round as far as I’m concerned.
Some folks think that the 35 caliber is a good caliber or they would not have introduced the 350 Legend straight walled caliber which seems to be a 357 Magnum on Steroids.

What kind of distance do you think that 35 is good for? I know it is not a long range gun. when I here 35 I think big game like stir Africa or close bear work but I am curious as to what the witnes effectiveness is of it
About a hundred yard gun in my humble opinion. 3030 about the same. 35 good for bear and dear, hogs.
