Thumler's Tumbler-45 acp

Highboy are you using any stainless steel tumbling media? Or just the liquid soap and lemon juice?

I'm getting tired of all the dust and nosie. and that the inside of the cases dont always clean up the way I want from my Lyman dry media tumbler.

Looking into getting Thumblers Tumbler.

No, the SS media is messy. The pins get every where.

I very rarely lose a single pin. I put a couple of paint strainers into a 5-gal bucket (they are designed to fit), and carefully dump the water in to that. The Franford Arsenal tumbler has a strainer-cap that keeps the cases inside whike you dump water. Then I rinse the cases while still inside the tumbler and dump again. Very few pins end up in the paint strainer. Then the remaining contents of the tumbler get dumped into a media separator to capture the remaining pins. It sounds like a lot, but really only takes a few minutes. The dust from the dry media system is nasty, and I don’t like it on my cases or in my lungs. 😁

I use the Frankford Arsenal ss media separator after tumbling in my Harbor Freight tumbler with ss pins, Maybe not the best, but it works for me.
