Triebel dies from Germany

This brand of German made dies may be unfamiliar to some. I’ve got a couple of dies from them one being a bushing neck sizing die with a spring loaded sleeve for 5.6x50R & the other a standard full length sizer for 8x57JRS.

The quality is very impressive but they don’t come cheap. Do they work better than a Redding die for example? I’d have to say not really but I mention them because they produce dies in some quite unusual European calibers; dies which can be difficult to find elsewhere. Additionally they produce bushing neck dies for many cartridges not covered by Redding or Wilson. They have a downloadable catalogue on their website.

Like most reloaders, I use dies from a mix of makers - I choose whichever I think will be best for the job.

Russell
